After all the Irish are famous for knowing how to have a good time with favorites like green beer and great lines like,” Kiss me I’m Irish”. Ask your friends to come dressed in their best Irish finery for this fun St Patrick’s Day party.

Decorations & Party Supplies: These days decorating for St Patrick’s Day are as easy as decorating for Christmas. There are so many great St Patrick’s Day Decorations to choose from. You can’t go wrong with shamrocks and leprechauns. Create a magical Irish space with lots of green decorations using hanging decorations, cutouts, and banner.  St. Patrick’s Day Balloons can add a huge effect. Don’t forget to add St Patrick’s Day Tableware. The St Patrick’s Day print on table covers, plates, napkins and cups will add to your décor and make clean up easy. Consider whether you want to provide party hats. Guests will likely show up all decked out in their Irish finery, but there are some great St Patrick’s Day party hats options ranging from bowlers to foil top hats and from shamrock tiaras to boppers. You’ll also want to line up some great Irish music. Celtic music is very popular these days and there is a lot to choose from.

Menu: Okay, Green Beer is a must have for a St. Patrick’s Day Party. You can make green beer by adding 4 to 6 drops of green food colouring in the bottom of a beer glass and slowly pouring a light coloured beer into the glass. Jameson’s Irish Whiskey, Bailey’s Irish Cream, and Irish Coffee are other great choices St Patrick’s Day drinks. Any green food is a good choice; a big green salad will go with whatever you serve; Irish stew is traditional fare, but the Irish are also famous for their potatoes, and baked potatoes with lots of interesting toppings is inexpensive, delicious, easy to prepare, and fabulous party food. For dessert try serving chocolate mint brownies and St Patrick’s Day cupcakes with green icing.

Activities: Not that you need activities. A St Patrick’s Day Party just naturally creates a fun atmosphere, but here are a few activities to help get the party going. Contests: Give prizes for the best dressed St Patrick’s Day Costume. Add to your fun by having an Irish Jig Contest. It’s hilarious to watch your friends bust out their best jig moves. Bottles of Jameson’s Irish Whiskey or Bailey’s Irish Cream make great prizes, or give St Patrick’s Day buttons or Leprechaun Hats.  Kiss the Blarney Stone: Cover a large stone or piece of Styrofoam with green foil and make a Blarney stone for everyone to kiss.
